The MicroSD card is the most important part of the Raspberry Pi, it contains the bootloader, operating system and additional memory for projects. The Raspberry Pi cannot start without a MicroSD card. Up to seven operating systems are available on the 16 GB Raspberry Pi - OS 2.7 card, which can be selected and downloaded via an Internet connection. If no Internet is available, the Raspberry Pi automatically starts the pre-installed Raspbian operating system.
