With the E-Box, Rafi offers a housing unit for holding one or two Rafix FS 22+ command devices - now also available in fully equipped versions with an M12 connection. With its dimensions of 109 mm x 40 mm x 27 mm, the housing unit is suitable for mounting on 40 mm profile rails of production equipment or safety fences. The associated mounting clip is fixed in the profile rail groove using a one-hole screw fastening, after which the E-box only needs to be snapped on. The M12 E-box is available in 4- or 8-pole versions with illuminated push-buttons. Models are currently available with one emergency stop or one push-button, with one emergency stop and one push-button and with two push-buttons (1 NC contact, 1 NO contact). The emergency stop versions have a signal-yellow upper part of the housing, the push-button versions are equipped with a grey upper part and are available with differently marked push-buttons for different applications: For on/off switching operations, the E-BOX is available with red and green (optionally flat or protruding) push-button covers; the variant for lifting and lowering movements has gray push-buttons with arrow application. The E-BOX model with just one push-button can be individually labeled with the Flexlab labeling system. The new unit has an IP65 protection rating and is designed for reliable use in a temperature range from -25°C to +70°C.
