Polytec presents the dark-field ring light family of the Latab series. The LED lights are available from stock with internal diameters from 15 to 246 mm. In addition to the ring light diameter, the horizontal beam angle often plays an important role: if the working distance to the surface of the object exceeds 20 mm, the beam angle is too flat to generate the necessary reflections. Specific adjustments to the beam angle between 70° and 90° are therefore possible. The selection of available light colors includes red, green, blue, white, IR and UV. Both continuous light and strobe controllers are available as LED controllers in 1 to 4-channel versions, with analog, Ethernet or RS232 interface and external or internal dimmer. The company also offers a 24 V inline controller for simple applications, which is integrated into the power supply cable.
