Cognex has introduced the In-Sight VC200 series, a family of multi-smart camera vision systems. The series applies the renowned performance and reliability of 'In-Sight' vision systems to multi-camera vision applications. In-Sight VC200 includes a fully customizable, web-enabled HMI that enables monitoring and control via password-protected access levels. Traditional multi-camera systems use 'simple' cameras that share the same processor. This slows performance and limits multi-camera systems to applications with simultaneous image capture. The Cognex system distributes data processing across multiple smart cameras, extending the range of possible multi-camera inspection applications.
