A brief portrait of Thomas Lantermann and the Mitsubishi Electric company

Thomas Lantermann has been working for Mitsubishi Electric since 1990. As a project manager, system, support and project engineer, his tasks included the specification of IEC 6-1131 programming software, the creation of IEC-compliant training concepts and documents as well as training and key account management until 2003.
As Technical Department Mechatronics EDM, he was subsequently responsible for returning the department to profitability, introducing an SAP system for service planning and processing and implementing automation concepts in EDM and FA Automation.
After holding positions as Product Marketing Manager Software and from 2008 as Senior Alliance and Development Manager, where he was involved in the introduction of a PLC-based direct interface to ERP/MES systems, for example, he became Senior Business Development Manager in 2012.
His responsibilities include the expansion of Mitsubishi Electric's e-F@ctory Partner Program worldwide. He is also involved in the specification of automation solutions for the European market, the planning and coordination of special hardware and software projects and the integration of new trends such as IEC 61499 or Industry 4.0.
