Stäubli offers the Giga-Dock10 Gigabit Ethernet connector for the secure and reliable transmission of signals, data and fieldbuses. It has a compact design and, according to the supplier, is designed to meet the highest demands for signal transmission at up to 10 Gbit/s. Typical areas of use include robot tool changers and automatic multi-couplings in applications with docked camera systems. In the automotive sector, it is used for gap detection in car body construction, crack detection after deformation in press shops or for quality control in paint shops. The connector is used for pick-and-place applications with real-time data transmission as well as for signal and data transmission via automatic and manual docking systems in test benches for gearboxes, engines and power units. In digital image processing, the connector is used as a GigE Vision interface. It belongs to the 'DuraDock ready' connector family.
