The Lüneburg-based company Sieb & Meyer has news to announce for the SD2M frequency inverter with three-level technology: A liquid-cooled variant with 450 kVA at 480 V(AC) and 630 Aeff rated current will be available in the 1st quarter of 2020. Although 50% more power is achieved, the design volume is the same as that of the 300 kVA device. The new device has been specially designed for turbo blowers and turbo compressors.
