Based on the document published in 2016 by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) on the "TOP 10 threats to industrial control systems", the participants were asked to assess the occurrence of the listed threats in their own company. On average, the companies surveyed rated the threat situation as "medium". The highest score of around 3.4 was achieved by "Human error and sabotage".
