03 - Synapticon: New product line for new market segment
Synapticon presents the 'Somanet Integro', a fully integrated servo solution with high-resolution multiturn position sensors, safe motion option and precise mechanical integration into standard industrial servo motors. The Integrated Motion solution offers a patented, optimized thermal output stage design and integration concept. In combination with Synapticon's proprietary, model predictive current control technology, which claims to reduce switching losses by more than 50%, integrated motors are possible for the first time that can achieve the same performance level as cabinet-based, separate servo systems that require active cooling while remaining identical in size. The integrated motion solution is suitable for servomotors up to 2 kW continuous power, the maximum current is specified as 60 and 120 Aeff, the voltage range is 24 to 60 V(DC). EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, Profinet and CAN are available as interfaces. A high-precision, battery-free multi-turn encoder (12 to 21 bits) is integrated. The solution complies with protection class IP67.
