Congatec launches Computer-on-Modules for 5G-connected smart factories and industrial automation. The mobility platforms simplify and accelerate the development of collaborative robotics and material handling systems and are designed for use in outdoor temperature ranges from -45 to +85 °C. Typical target systems for the platforms are real-time connected and functionally safe next-generation self-driving vehicles as well as intelligent manufacturing and material handling systems. The portfolio includes COM-HPC server modules based on Intel Xeon D processors for industrial edge servers and 5G campus network equipment, COM-HPC client modules based on 12th generation Intel Core processors and COM-HPC client modules based on the Intel Xeon D processor. generation Intel Core processor-based COM-HPC client and COM Express modules for intelligent vehicle/robot gateways and vehicle/robot network controllers, and Intel Celeron, Pentium and Atom processor-based Pico-ITX single board computers (SBCs) as application-ready real-time processing cores for industrial edge computing applications.
