Wago is expanding the PFC200 controller family with a Profibus controller with DP master interface. In addition to a standard version, the controller is also available in a variant for the extended temperature range of -20 to +60 °C. The controller is operated with the Linux real-time operating system and can be programmed with the 'Wago0-I/O-Pro' configuration software, which is based on Codesys. GSD files can be easily read in with the integrated Profibus configurator. At the same time, sensitive production data is protected by comprehensive security packages such as SSL/TLS 1.2, SSH, VPN and firewall. The controller hardware has been completely redesigned and optimized. The Ethernet and CAN interfaces familiar from other controllers in the controller family have been retained.
