02 - Microsoft: More flexibility for the supply chain

(Symbolic image) Microsoft's 'Supply Chain Platform' is designed to help companies maximize investments in data along the entire supply chain through an open approach. Microsoft solutions for artificial intelligence (AI), collaboration, low-code development, IT security and SaaS applications can be freely combined on the platform. It integrates Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365, Microsoft Teams and the Microsoft Power Platform so that companies can create their own functions for their supply chain requirements. With the Power Platform extension 'Microsoft Dataverse', a variety of connectors can be created to provide supply chain visibility and develop custom workflows with low-code solutions. At the heart of the Supply Chain Platform is the Microsoft Supply Chain Center, which is available as a preview. As a command center, it can harmonize data from existing supply chain systems, such as Dynamics 365 and other ERP systems, including SAP and Oracle, as well as standalone supply chain systems. The Data Manager in the Supply Chain Center enables the ingestion and orchestration of data to create visibility across the entire supply chain.
