02 - Spectra: Edge AI Box PC with 'Alder Lake' processors
With the PowerBox 420 box PC series, Spectra offers a computer platform for demanding AI applications in industry. Depending on the application, you can choose between various 12th generation processors (Alder Lake) from Core i9 to Celeron. This processor generation is considered particularly effective due to its hybrid architecture with performance and efficiency cores. This enables better adaptation to different workloads, as the performance cores can be used for demanding tasks, while the efficiency cores handle the less intensive tasks. Alder Lake supports DDR5 memory with 4800 MHz up to 64 GB. The PowerBox 420 offers two GLAN ports as well as 4× USB 3.2 Gen2 and 4× USB 3.2 Gen1. It also provides a selection of native I/O interfaces and supports optional I/O extensions such as LAN, M12, DIO and COM. In addition, WiFi, GNSS, 4G and Bluetooth can be realized with one M.2 key E slot and two mini PCIe slots. The temperature range extends from -40 to +70 °C, the input voltage from 9 to 48 V(DC). The Box PC series offers overvoltage, overcurrent and ESD protection.
