At a difficult time when digital solutions are supporting the economy in various sectors around the world, all IT providers are called upon to help. Wibu-Systems, provider of protection and licensing solutions, is waiving the costs for software manufacturers to use additional cloud-based license containers in the home office in the next quarter.

The coronavirus pandemic is forcing companies to set up home office workstations for most of their employees. Software vendors and manufacturers of smart devices must create the conditions for this and Wibu-Systems provides a key element for this: a free license container for the cloud that can contain various licenses for employees working from home.

Oliver Winzenried (r.), CEO and founder of Wibu-Systems, wants to make his own contribution during the coronavirus crisis. "Our business relies heavily on our ability to constantly innovate, and now is the time to develop new ideas and put them to use immediately. In light of the current challenge, we want to help manufacturers worldwide to make licenses of their software available via the cloud so that their customers can use it at their home office workstation without any special VPN setup."
