New from Esitron is a large display that extends the product portfolio of digital displays upwards. The DM100 large display is available for bus connection to Profibus, Profinet, CANopen and EtherCAT - further interfaces are in preparation. The 100 mm high display is available with 4 - 8 digits. According to the manufacturer, the bright LEDs make it readable from up to 50 m, making it ideal for displaying various types of process data such as pressure, speed, flow rate, position, quantity or temperature in extensive production facilities. Exceedances or alarm functions can be displayed using the flashing function. The integrated character set allows digits with decimal places and signs as well as special characters and letters to be displayed directly. The brightness of the LED display can also be dimmed via the bus system. The Profinet interface with two M12 standard connectors is equipped with an integrated switch and supports topology functions. The display can be integrated into Profinet networks using the assignable IP address. The Profibus interface with automatic baud rate detection is also connected via M12 connectors. The CANopen and EtherCAT versions support dynamic mapping.
