With the Skorpio X4 mobile computer, Datalogic is launching a robust solution for retail and warehouse management - according to the supplier, especially for customers who want to update their existing WinCE applications. The computer's accessories are compatible with the predecessor series. Equipped with a 3.2-inch color touchscreen, the mobile computer speeds up data collection. Data is transmitted via 802.11 a/b/g/n, with MIMO antenna technology providing extended coverage at the same time. Bluetooth v4 short-range technology also supports energy-saving mode (BLE). The mobile computer is available as a 1D or 2D model. The 1D model is based on a linear imager, which generates a green scan line and therefore usually achieves better reading results compared to a laser scanner. The 2D imager, on the other hand, is based on white illumination and captures both 1D and 2D codes. The mobile computer is available both with and without a handle.
