With the RS007N and RS007L, Kawasaki Robotics presents two 6-axis robots with a maximum payload of 7 kg, which complement the universal "R series" for small to medium payloads (3 to 80 kg). Both robots offer the familiar features of the R-series robots, enhanced by a redesigned arm structure and a weight reduction of the main unit. These modifications enable high working speeds and larger working areas. The 2 "RS007N" has a reach of 730 mm and the "RS007L" has a reach of 930 mm. The arm structure and drive system ensure improved maximum and acceleration speeds. Further features are the adaptation of the acceleration values to the load and the robot positioning. By using a cantilever design for the upper arm section, the robots achieve a greater reach and an extended range of motion - under, behind and in close proximity to the robot, according to the supplier. The dust-tight robots feature double sealing of all axes and waterproof electrical connections. They also offer an IP67 classification for the wrist and IP65 for the other axes.
