Lütze has added tool-free push-in spring-loaded terminal technology to its M12 plug-in connectors. During assembly, the company relies on a clear color assignment of the wires. In the connection block, all colors are assigned according to the relevant EN 60947-5-2 standards: for the actuator-sensor area and for fieldbus wiring such as CAN bus, Profibus, Ethernet and Profinet. This makes it virtually impossible to mix up the PINs and eliminates the need for time-consuming and error-prone recoding of the individual color codes. A permanent spring pushes each wire so that even with strong vibrations and after many years of operation with possible material fatigue of the copper wires, a constant pressure and therefore secure and uninterrupted contacting is guaranteed. The M12 push-in connectors are available in different versions, either with a straight plug or angled, alternatively shielded or unshielded. The angled version allows the cable outlet to be positioned in 45° increments in relation to the pole pattern.
