With the eCam system, Emka is launching an electronic tongue lock on the market that secures doors and flaps against unauthorized opening, for example on switch cabinets and machines or to protect against theft or sabotage. The system consists of a controllable latch on the front of the door or flap and an electronic lock on the inside. In an emergency (e.g. in the event of a power failure), this can also be operated by emergency opening. The user decides how this emergency opening is carried out. If required, the system can also be integrated into the electrical circuit of a machine to enable opening or emergency opening only when the machine is de-energized.
