
The HPSC4 LED controller from Smartek Vision is a 4-channel controller that provides high flexibility within a vision system for capturing fast-moving objects with maximum image sharpness. It is suitable for various LED lighting and is designed with a digitally controlled buck and boost switching power supply for up to 120 W output power. Four separately controllable input and output channels enable asynchronous operation and thus control over light intensity, timing, synchronization and overdrive of the connected LEDs for various lighting scenarios via a single controller. The controller generates pulses with up to 40 A at a maximum of 48 V at the output. The LED controller has opto-isolated trigger inputs and separate outputs for precise synchronization and strong overdrive. The input to output delay of maximum 2 µs enables pulses with a setting accuracy of up to 1 µs/1 mA and a duration of 1 µs to 60 s. The most suitable synchronization mode for the application can be selected from the controller's various operating modes - from external, internal and software-triggered to continuous operation.
