"We have achieved that only tasks that are physically and mentally demanding for humans are taken over by the robot. All other tasks, such as the preparation of work steps or quality control, remain with humans and thus ensure that varied activities are maintained," summarizes project coordinator David Kremer from Fraunhofer IAO. In this way, robotics increases the chance of maintaining the jobs of people with disabilities in the context of automation.
