Nord Drivesystems has developed the Nordac Link field distributor series. The frequency inverters and motor starters have coded pluggable connections for power, communication, sensors and actuators, enabling fast, safe installation and commissioning. LEDs indicate switching, operating and signal statuses so that operators can diagnose faults directly on site. Maintenance switches and operating switches on the device facilitate system service and set-up operation. The drives can be flexibly configured for applications specifically in conveyor technology as well as in other machines and systems. The functional equipment ranges from encoder evaluation and brake management to PI control and sequence control via an integrated PLC. The overload-capable drives control asynchronous and synchronous motors with high control quality and deliver the torque reliably up to speed 0. Monitoring functions to protect the mains, motor and system are integrated directly into the devices. The supply voltage can be connected through from one drive to the next.
