Version 12.2 of Datalogic's Impact software simplifies and accelerates the implementation of camera-based robot controllers and is tested and certified for cobots from Universal Robots. The current version enables users to calibrate and set up simple pick & place applications directly via the robot operating device. For this purpose, 'Impact 12.2' is supplied with an 'Impact 2D Robot Guidance UR Cap Plugin' for download. The control application has a user-friendly interface. There are new localization options to improve positioning accuracy. The enhanced Advanced OCR tool ensures faster traceability applications. More than 100 different vision tools support users in the implementation of image processing applications and meet the requirements of inspection systems. The software runs on all of the provider's smart cameras and vision processors. Programs can be shared between smart cameras and vision processors via the intuitive 'drag and drop' user interface.
