The VC-Z series from Vision Components offers OEMs a selection of intelligent cameras such as board cameras and stand-alone models with protective housing, 2D and stereo vision cameras as well as 3D laser sensors. All types are available with various CMOS sensors, including 'Pregius' image sensors from Sony. This enables clock rates such as 88 fps for resolutions up to 3.2 MPixel or 170 fps for 1.6 MPixel to be achieved during integration. This means that high-speed applications can also be implemented. In addition to the range of embedded vision systems, the manufacturer also offers software libraries, for example for barcode recognition. Specialized software packages that provide all commands for the detection and processing of all common barcode formats are part of the standard 'VC LibQ' package.
