The 'PK' control cabinet cooling units from Elmeko with Peltier technology can be installed in a space-saving manner and are mobile, as they work without liquid refrigerant; the heat is transported solely by the flow of electricity. The cooling capacities range from 30 to 280 W for the air conditioning of small switch cabinets, operating housings and control consoles. By reversing the polarity, the systems become heaters to prevent condensation and keep electronics at temperature. With most conventional devices, a power supply unit and a suitable controller must also be installed in the control cabinet for power supply and temperature control. These components are already integrated in the PK 150-PS. The protected power supply unit is located on the outside of the cooling unit and therefore outside the enclosure to be cooled, eliminating the need for an internal heat source. The device operates with an input voltage range of 100 to 240 V 50/60 Hz. The integrated temperature controller allows the temperatures for heating and cooling mode to be set separately. The nominal cooling capacity of the compact appliance is 150 W. The stainless steel housing with protection class IP65 enables use in outdoor areas as well as in industrial applications with high air conditioning requirements.
