The pushbuttons and illuminated pushbuttons in the Lumotast 16 series from Rafi for 16.2 mm installation openings are designed for use in device construction, especially in hand-held operating devices. According to the supplier, the compact pushbuttons offer concise tactile feedback. With external dimensions of 22.3 mm, the models are dimensioned for a grid size of 25 mm x 25 mm. Thanks to their installation depth of just 18 mm, they require little space inside the housing. The series also includes emergency stop buttons in various designs: An emergency stop variant is available for plug-in or wireless operating units, the mushroom head of which is illuminated by a red LED when properly connected to the emergency stop function of the machine/system. When the connection is inactive, the mushroom head remains colorless so that its appearance no longer corresponds to that of a regular emergency stop button in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13850 and ineffective incorrect actuation is ruled out. Alternatively, the push-button series offers classic emergency stop actuators with one NC contact, two NC contacts or two NC contacts and one NO contact. C-LAB inscription inserts or covers can be used for the customer-specific labeling of the pushbuttons, which the supplier can supply with customer-specific printing on request. The permanent switching reliability of the push-buttons is guaranteed by gold contacts - the emergency stop push-buttons are also available with silver contacts for higher currents. All push-buttons and emergency stop variants are designed with IP65 and IP67 protection.
