Isra Vision relies on wireless networked sensor technology

'Touch & Automate' is a further development of Isra's 'Plug & Automate' family. While this already made expert knowledge for the use of 3D sensor technology and measurement technology superfluous, the sensors can now also be connected wirelessly.

According to the company, the special feature of Isra 's enhanced portfolio is the high connectivity of the sensors. They communicate both with a database and with each other via WLAN. On the one hand, this enables the coordinated use of sensors for large measurement tasks, and on the other hand, the data collected is also available for collaborative data use across processes. This allows all inspection systems in a line to react to changes: Information on relevant defect types as well as on new object geometries is available to the entire sensor network without delay.

The 'Touch & Automate' concept is characterized by adaptive automation: the sensors integrated into the sensor network receive the software modules required for a task via download. This allows the systems to adapt to changing measurement tasks within a very short time. By installing new applications, service applications such as self-maintenance software and updates can be made available to the sensors; new measurement parameters or lighting schemes can also be installed in this way.

Isra offers the quality and yield management software 'Epromi' (Enterprise Production Management Intelligence) to analyze and visualize the information from the sensor network. This higher-level information software supports decisions at all levels of the company with customizable reports.
