In the run-up to the Vision trade fair in Stuttgart (8.11. to 10.11.), the VDMA referred to the excellent figures for industrial image processing in Germany: 2015 saw record sales and the industry's growth is set to continue unabated this year.

In 2015, the German machine vision industry achieved record sales of 2 billion euros - an increase of 9% compared to the previous year. This means that the industry's turnover has doubled within ten years. According to the VDMA forecast, this growth is likely to continue in 2016 with an increase in turnover of 8% to 2.2 billion euros.
