Endress+Hauser
Strong growth recorded
The specialist for measurement technology and automation solutions increased its consolidated turnover in 2023 by 11% to over EUR 3.7 billion and created 715 new jobs worldwide.
"Endress+Hauser recorded strong organic growth in 2023, boosted by a record-high order backlog at the start of the year," says Chief Financial Officer Dr. Luc Schultheiss. Individual markets and sectors developed very differently. Economic momentum slowed noticeably in the second half of the year. "Nevertheless, we were able to maintain our order intake at a good level and want to continue to exploit growth opportunities in 2024," emphasizes Dr. Peter Selders, the Group's new CEO since the start of the year.
Accordingly, Endress+Hauser was able to increase its turnover to over 3.7 billion euros in its anniversary year 2023, which corresponds to an increase of 11 percent. The number of employees is also positive, as the measurement technology specialist has created 715 new jobs worldwide. As a result, the Group had 16,532 employees at the end of the year. Endress+Hauser intends to continue to grow in the current year.
Review of the anniversary year
Last year, Endress+Hauser celebrated its 70th birthday. The highlight was an anniversary week in Switzerland: 5,500 employees came to Basel for the celebrations and looked back on seven decades. At the first Endress+Hauser Global Forum, over 800 customers discussed the question of how the sustainable transformation of the process industry can succeed. Hundreds of employees took part in internal conferences; at the Young Generation Networking Day alone, 600 young talents exchanged ideas.
Endress+Hauser will present its audited business figures for 2023 on April 16, 2024 at the Annual Media Conference in Reinach, Switzerland (canton of Basel-Landschaft).
