Mark Moffat becomes new CEO
Mark Moffat has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IFS. His predecessor Darren Roos will now assume the position of Chair of the Board.
Prior to his new position as CEO, Mark Moffat was Chief Customer Officer at IFS and before that he held various management positions at PwC. The nomination of Moffat as the new CEO of IFS and the appointment of Roos as Chairman of the Board are aimed at further developing IFS into a leading provider of asset and service management software.
Under the aegis of Darren Roos as CEO, IFS has more than tripled its turnover. The company now generates 79 percent of its revenue in the cloud. Organic growth and high customer satisfaction have made IFS a provider of industry-specific applications for the management of assets, employees and customers.
Darren Roos takes over the position from Jonas Persson, who will remain associated with IFS as Senior Advisor to the investor EQT. EQT, alongside Hg and TA Associates, is part of the trio of investors who have grown IFS into a company valued at more than USD 10 billion with their investments since 2022. IFS plans to publish its financial results for 2023 on January 30, 2024.
