The jury awarded the start-up Ambiverse a recognition prize of 7,000 euros. It has developed intelligent software that recognizes ambiguous words and phrases within a text and assigns them to their context. This enables ambiguous or varying names and terms found on the Internet or in large databases in companies to be clearly identified. The software compares persons, companies, films or books in the text with publicly accessible or company-specific databases. The software is aimed at all companies that need to systematically search and understand large volumes of text - for example analysts, investors or news portals.
