Start-up competition / Cebit 2017Zypries honors digital innovations
Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Brigitte Zypries honored innovative ideas from the field of information and communication technology at the 'Digital Innovations Start-up Competition' at Cebit 2017. Computer&AUTOMATION shows the developments of the 20 start-ups in a picture gallery.

The start-up InnoCow, which also won the main prize, has developed a diagnostic system for the automated recording of activity and vital parameters of cows. The sensors built into a collar record the animals' behavior and movements. The tracking system uses self-learning algorithms to derive the health status of the animals. This provides farmers with all the information they need at a glance via a web application at an early stage, for example to identify mating behavior and diseases.
