Job market3D printing is becoming a job engine
How is the trend towards additive manufacturing affecting the job market? The job platform Joblift investigated this question. It became clear that mechanical and plant engineering in particular is looking for staff.

According to Joblift , 2,178 jobs were advertised at in 2016, but this figure rose to 4,099 last year - an increase of 88%. Around half of the jobs are created in corporations with more than 1,000 employees. In contrast, 22% of job advertisements come from small companies with fewer than 50 employees, but the number of these vacancies increased by 120% in 2017.
