Copa-Data grows by 16% in Germany
Copa-Data increased its turnover in Germany to 29 million euros in the 2025 financial year, which corresponds to growth of 16% compared to the previous year. Group-wide, the company recorded revenue growth of 21%.
Germany is one of Copa-Data 's most strategically important markets in Europe. The renewed increase in sales underlines the strong demand for software solutions that support companies in measurably increasing their added value and making processes more efficient. According to the company, this growth is based in particular on a clear understanding of industrial value chains and the ability to support customers where economically meaningful impact can be achieved. In 2025, the focus was on retrofitting: instead of focusing exclusively on new investments, Copa-Data supported numerous companies in making existing systems more efficient, transparent and powerful. The aim is to realize a measurable business impact and a clear economic benefit for the operators with manageable investments. "With zenon, we offer far more than just a software platform. We see zenon as an economic operating system for industrial value creation that makes data available from the field level to higher-level systems," says Jürgen Schrödel, Managing Director of Copa-Data Germany.
In its strategic planning for the coming year, the company is looking at forecast investment projects: "We are taking a very close look at where investments are being made," says Jürgen Schrödel. "There has been a massive decline in investment in recent years. That's why we focused heavily on existing plants in 2025. However, we expect to see more investment again in 2026, particularly in the area of infrastructure. This is where we can support potential customers with intelligent building management systems and sustainably increase their productivity." A key success factor here is data consistency along the entire value chain. It forms the basis for well-founded decisions, greater efficiency and long-term competitiveness. Topics such as cyber security, green manufacturing and modularization also remain important.
