5G and WLAN 6 - two converging technologies?
Digitalization has a fundamental building block without which progress would not be possible in the private, commercial or industrial sectors: the key is communication!
Industrial communication has changed from proprietary fieldbuses to the Ethernet and increasingly mainstream technology-based world of today's industrial automation. It is therefore no wonder that technologies such as WLAN and mobile radio are already playing an important role in industrial communication.
With 5G and WIFI 6, two new generations of these wireless communication technologies are now coming onto the market, which at first glance have many technical similarities and also address similar use cases.
The presentation will highlight the similarities and differences between 5G and WIFI 6 and summarize the main areas of application of the two technologies with regard to industrial use cases.
Frank Hakemeyer, Phoenix Contact Electronics, welcomes you to the presentation on "5G and WLAN 6 - two converging technologies?".
Date: November 25, 14:30 - 14:50
