TDK-Lambda at the SPS 2025
New 600 W and 1000 W power supply units in the GUS series
TDK-Lambda is expanding the GUS series with compact industrial power supplies with output powers of 600 W and 1000 W.
Both models are designed for an input voltage range of 100 to 240 V(AC) and deliver output voltages of 12, 24, 36 or 48 V(DC). The efficiency reaches up to 95.5 % at a load of 30 to 100 %, which reduces the energy requirement by more than 100 kWh per year.
The 'GUS600' measures 101.6 mm × 41 mm × 152.4 mm, the 'GUS1000' 101.6 mm × mm 41 × 177.8 mm. An internal fan with typically < 45 dBA ensures quiet operation. Both models operate in the temperature range from -20 to +70 °C and are designed for a long service life of the electrolytic capacitors. A remote on/off function is available as an option, which enables external control of the output.
The power supply units are certified to IEC/EN/UL/CSA 62368-1 (IEC 61010-compliant), meet EN 55011-B and EN 55032-B for conducted and radiated emissions and EN 61000-3-2 and IEC 61000-4 for EMC and interference immunity. The insulation is 2 kVAC (input/output), 3 kV(AC) (input/earth) and 0.5 kV(AC) (output/earth); the series complies with IEC 62477-1 (OVC III).
The models have been developed for use in light industrial equipment, factory automation, semiconductor manufacturing, ATE test systems, LED lighting and broadcasting.
