Management changes strengthen DACH organization
Schneider Electric, provider for the digital transformation of energy management and automation, announces the appointment of Martin Jäger as the new Vice President Home Solutions for the DACH region, effective September 1, 2025.
In this role, Martin Jäger will drive forward the strategic development of sustainable and digital home solutions in the DACH region. Home Solutions comprises solutions for electrical energy distribution in the home - from electrical installation components to systems for building automation and energy management. The division was previously headed up by Konstantin Elstermann, who will take on a new role within the company in future.
Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Jäger was Regional Chief Executive Officer & Head of Southeast Asia at BSH Home Appliances in Singapore since 2020. In this role, he was responsible for a total of twelve markets, including P&L responsibility for five legal entities and overseeing seven export markets for the Bosch and Gaggenau brands. Jäger brings over 20 years of international leadership experience in the smart home and premium home appliance industry in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, particularly in the areas of sales, marketing and customer service.
Further personnel changes
Kathrin Aehling will assume responsibility as Vice President Digital Energy DACH on October 1, 2025. She has held various management positions at Schneider Electric for over twelve years, most recently as Vice President Channel Management & Marketing DACH. She succeeds Markus Hettig, who is leaving the company at his own request.
Felix Kranert will also take over the role of Vice President Channel Management & Marketing DACH on October 1, succeeding Kathrin Aehling. He has been Director Offer Marketing & Segment Development since 2023, where he provided important strategic impetus for the industry business.
On August 1, 2025, Udo Hoffmann took on the newly created role of Head of Government & National Security Segment. He will be responsible for the targeted further development of offerings for digitalized and resilient critical infrastructures in the public sector. Hoffmann has been with the company since 2011 and was most recently responsible for the Germany-wide sales of the entire product, solution and software range as Vice President National Sales. The tasks of the former National Sales will be assigned to the respective business units in future.
