Powerbox takes over Eplax

The Swedish power supply manufacturer Powerbox has announced the acquisition of the privately-owned German company Eplax. This acquisition strengthens Powerbox's capacity for customized power supply solutions.

The power supply manufacturer Eplax emerged from Vero Electronics, which was founded in 1964, and is based in Bremen. "The long-standing partnership between Powerbox and Eplax has already shown in the past that our joint customers greatly appreciate the combined expertise and resources. Together, we are able to offer the market leading technical and cost-optimized solutions," says Andreas Mielke, former co-owner of Eplax.

Powerbox was founded in 1974, is headquartered in Sweden and has offices in 15 countries on four continents. The company focuses primarily on the industrial, medical technology, rail and transportation technology and military technology market segments.
