Installation behind the safety edges
Redur launches the 4R21.3 plug-in cable transformer. The 4R21 small signal converters from the 'Regulus' series are available for primary rated currents from 50 to 500 A and a round conductor dimension of 21 mm.
Conformity-rated versions for currents from 100 to 500 A are also available for billing purposes. Redur 's plug-on transformers are designed for nominal frequencies of 50 to 60 Hz as standard; other frequencies or customer-specific adaptations are possible on request. The measuring devices for switchgear construction are easy to install and remove and can be used to map any standard output signal. The housing and pressure pieces are made of high-strength polyamide, making the measuring devices flame-retardant and suitable for use in ambient temperatures from -5 to +40 °C. As standard, the compact plug-on current transformers are designed for space-saving installation behind the safety edges; however, they can also be optionally mounted on TS35 mounting rails (DIN EN 60715).
