The universally applicable power supplies in the PowerCompactChamp (PCC) series from Block meet the requirements of different applications and industries. With high starting or inrush currents, up to 150 % is available for 5 s and an additional static power reserve of 110 % is permanently available. Thanks to their high efficiency, the power supplies contribute directly to reducing energy costs and CO2 emissions, according to the manufacturer. The compact design saves space on the DIN rail and the reduced device depth enables use in space-optimized control cabinets. According to the supplier, efficient circuit topologies and an optimized thermal design have enabled the width of the 240 W devices to be reduced to 40 mm, for example.
