CFO of the new 'Siemens Gas and Power' appointed

Klaus Patzak, Managing Partner of the Siemens portfolio companies, is Chief Financial Officer of the future 'Siemens Gas and Power': He is responsible for setting up the finance function and managing all measures relating to the spin-off and IPO of Siemens' energy business.

The CFO of the new 'Siemens Gas and Power', Klaus Patzak, is significantly involved in setting up the future self-sufficient energy business of Siemens.

In his role as CFO, Klaus Patzak (54) will report to Lisa Davis, CEO of the newly created 'Siemens Gas and Power'. There is a functional reporting line to the CFO of Siemens AG, Ralf Peter Thomas.

Patzak returned to Siemens in April of this year. Until recently, the finance and transformation expert was CFO of Bilfinger and previously CFO of Osram Licht AG. Among other things, he was Head of Accounting, Reporting and Controlling at Siemens for many years.

In his current role as Chief Financial Officer of Siemens Operating Company Gas and Power, Michael Becker will continue to be responsible for all related operational activities.
