Transferring data to the cloud

The digital I/O modules of the MQ-7200M series from Spectra send the sensor data directly to the cloud via the Ethernet using the MQTT protocol.

The MQTT broker is located locally in the private or public cloud, such as Microsoft Azure or IBM Bluemix. These providers offer numerous tools for data analysis in addition to the usual cloud services. All settings on the I/O modules can be made via a browser using the embedded web server without additional software. The modules have dual LAN, which allows daisy-chain structures to be set up. A metal housing and temperature insensitivity support use in harsh environmental conditions.
