Inka Krischke,

Overmolded AT connectors

The overmolded AT connectors from Conec offer a high level of IP protection with IP67/IP69K. The overmolding ensures IP protection right into the cable. This means that no liquid can penetrate into the cable between the sheath and the core.

Particularly with short connections, the connected electronics and the Conec connector are optimally protected against moisture or oil penetration by capillary action. This is important for forestry, agricultural and waste management vehicles, their trailers and construction machinery, which are constantly exposed to changing weather conditions, rain and sometimes heavy soiling. At the same time, the degree of automation is constantly increasing and with it the need to equip machines with sensors and other electrical components. The connection of electrical and electronic components requires particularly secure connectors that can withstand high mechanical loads and harsh environmental and weather conditions.
