Modular enclosure series extended
Apra-norm is expanding the apraRail DB FMH enclosure series with a further enclosure width. The enclosures in the series with a stable and modular design in accordance with DIN EN 43880 can be used on top-hat rails or on the wall.
The DB 4 (72 mm wide, suitable for single-board computers such as Raspberry Pi) and DB 6 (107 mm wide) modules in three different heights (flat 33 mm, medium 48 mm, high 63 mm) have been expanded to include the DB 3 module with a width of 54 mm. It differs from the previously available module housings only in its width. The enclosure has certified fire protection approval (UL 94 V-0), which is used specifically for electronic applications. According to the manufacturer Apra-norm, the stepless upper shell offers more installation space for PCBs and electronic components. The enclosures are available closed or open with an additional snap-in transparent or colored front panel. They have different installation positions for the PCBs, which can also be screwed onto domes in the lower part.
