On February 8, 2019, Aktion Plagiarius e.V. "awarded" the negative "Plagiarius" prize to brazen counterfeiters and their sales partners for the 43rd time. The counterfeit products include consumer goods as well as two industrial components.

About the bicycle basket 'Bikebasket' from the company Reisenthel Accessoires, based in Gilching near Munich: The overall impression of the original (left) and the counterfeit (right) is identical, but the counterfeit is inferior in terms of materials and workmanship. The bicycle basket was counterfeited by a Chinese bicycle factory in Hebei, China. The German distributor of the counterfeit has signed a cease-and-desist declaration.
