Current productsNews from the field of electromechanics
Cables, connectors etc. are the backbone of every factory. The "smarter" the latter becomes, the higher the demands on the passive elements for signal and energy transmission. Computer&AUTOMATION has compiled the latest products from the field of electromechanics.

Wiesemann & Theis is expanding its range of network-based I/O systems with an industrial 230 V remote switch for load currents of up to 16 A. Like the entire Web-IO family, model 57732 supports various network and communication protocols. The device with the full designation "Web-IO 4.0 Digital, 1 × 230 V In, 1 × Relay Out" has an input and output for 230 V each. In addition to recording and monitoring, possible applications include the remote-controlled switching of 230 V circuits. For classic industrial applications, the Web-IO supports OPC and Modbus/TCP at fieldbus level. Industry 4.0 and home automation applications are implemented using the IoT protocol MQTT and a REST interface. The SNMP network management protocol enables use in data centers and server rooms. For individual solutions, the device can also be accessed network-based via TCP/IP and UDP or web-based via HTTPS. The reaction of the Web-IO to any events is configured via an action system. For example, the user is informed by e-mail about the switching status of a cooling compressor or a machine.
