Product presentationsNews from the field of electromechanics
Cables, connectors etc. are the backbone of every factory. The "smarter" the latter becomes, the higher the demands on the passive elements for signal and energy transmission. Computer&AUTOMATION has compiled the latest products from the field of electromechanics.

Icotek has improved the KEL-DPZ 24 cable entry plate for the introduction of non-assembled cables. According to the manufacturer, the cable entry plate, which corresponds to the standard cut-outs of 24-pin heavy-duty connectors in terms of cut-out size and hole pattern, offers a high packing density that could not be achieved with conventional solutions with a comparable surface area. Cables, fiber optic cables, hoses or cable strands with diameters ranging from 1.5 to 22 mm can be inserted, sealed and simultaneously relieved against tension with the cable entry. With eight different versions, any number of combinations and diameter variants are possible. This is due to the different clamping areas for the cables. Tapered grommets on the back of the cable entry ensure that the cable is sealed twice. Openings that are no longer required can be securely closed with ST-B plugs from the supplier, and protection class IP65/IP66 is maintained.
