Telegärtner at the SPS 2022
Field-attachable circular connector
Telegärtner is expanding its range of M12 circular connectors with the 'M12x1-D IDC', a field-wireable variant with IDC insulation displacement connectors.
The installation space design also protects against short circuits in moving applications. The IDC insulation displacement connectors are not only designed for single and seven-wire conductors, but also for 19-wire strands. The Telegärtner connector is suitable for wires with a diameter of 0.9 to 1.6 mm and cables with an outer diameter of 5.0 to 9.0 mm. It can be mounted on a variety of different cable types on site without the need for special tools.
The universal wire manager is printed with the color coding for Profinet as well as for ODVA Ethernet IP. Installation cables can also be connected. The connector meets the requirements of protection class IP67 and can be used at temperatures from -40 to +85 °C. It is suitable for Fast Ethernet with data rates up to and including 100 Mbit/s and PoE in accordance with IEEE 802.3af.
