Dieter Gleisberg joins the management board

On August 9, 2019, Dieter Gleisberg (photo) took over the management of Wieland Electric in Bamberg together with Dr. Ulrich Schaarschmidt. Gleisberg replaces Dr. Oliver Eitrich.

In recent years, Dieter Gleisberg has been able to expand his management skills in Germany and abroad. Prior to his new position at Wieland Electric, he worked for Rehau AG and the Arvato Group, a subsidiary of the family-run Bertelsmann Group, among others. Together with Dr. Ulrich Schaarschmidt, he forms the dual leadership of the family-owned company at Wieland Electric. As Managing Director, Gleisberg succeeds Dr. Oliver Eitrich, who has left the company.

Wieland Electric is headquartered in Bamberg and employs 1,600 people. The company has 14 subsidiaries.
