Chief Technology Officer leaves technology group

Dr. Kurt D. Bettenhausen, Chief Technology and Development Officer, is leaving the Harting Technology Group by mutual agreement. He will relinquish his office on March 1, 2024.

Harting's Chief Technology Officer Dr. Kurt D. Bettenhausen will step down on March 1, 2024.

Dr. Bettenhausen joined the Harting Technology Group as Chief Technology and Development Officer on September 1, 2020. Since then, he has played a key role in shaping the innovation and technology roadmap for the coming years and has been instrumental in driving forward numerous topics relating to product lifecycle management, quality assurance, innovation and development, including in an international context.

Dr. Bettenhausen will continue to be available to the company in an advisory capacity in the coming months. His successor is to be announced shortly.

The Harting Technology Group is a provider of industrial connection technology. Around 6,200 employees worldwide work for the family-owned company, which generated sales of EUR 1,036 million in 2022/23.
